Camping Weekend

Friday 16^th – Sunday 18^th July 2004

Come and join us for a camping weekend…..… in the Peak District !

Venue: Newhaven Caravan and Camping Park, Newhaven (near Hartington)

I am coordinating the weekend and propose the following arrangements:

1.      If you are interested, please let me know by email or phone, the sooner the better.

2.      BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS: When you let me know of your interest, I will send you contact details for the site so you can book your pitch direct. Please mention “DERBYSHIRE FAMILY RAMBLING GROUP” when booking. I will ask that the Campsite try to keep all “DFRG” pitches together so I would appreciate knowing when you have booked your pitch. (to know definite numbers) Please book by 31.03.04 (later bookings may not get a pitch)

3.      Weekend arrangements.

We shall meet up at the campsite from around 18.00 on Friday 2^nd July

On Saturday we will lead a walk from the campsite.

On Sunday morning we will need to pack up tents … but suggestions are invited for a short walk (& pub lunch?) on Sunday

4. Any queries to me please.

If you prefer to stay at Hartington or Youlgreave Youth hostel, please book direct (as below) & also let Andy Gadsby know so we'll expect to see you at the camp site for the start of the walks on Saturday & Sunday. Individual/family YHA membership required (Group membership card not valid this weekend).
